Let us introduce ourselves . . .

Wells Insurance Agency, Inc. is a 3-generation family business.

It was established by the late Charles M. Wells in 1939 and was originally located on the 3rd

floor of the old First National Bank building.

Ronnie Wells (Virginia's son-in-law) began working as an agent with Wells Insurance in 1984. In 1987 he became co-owner, and at Virginia's passing in 1992 he assumed ownership and manage-ment.

In 2000, the office moved to 225 Main Street, its present location.

Occasionally today you will find their daughters SaraBeth and Becca, and even SaraBeth's new daughter Lilly Rey, helping out!

In 1966, "Charlie" (as he was known to both friends and business associates) retired, and sisters Miriam Wells Leonard and Virginia Wells Gullett became owners of the agency.

The office moved to 319 Main Street in 1968.

Ronnie's wife, Peggy Gullett Wells, had been employed as an agent with Wells Insurance from 1976 until 1985. That year their first child was born, and Peggy took another position -

full time Mom!

After a "20-year maternity leave", Peggy returned to the agency in 2005.
